Celia Delaney – Promoting Your Business Through Speaking
Celia Delaney runs SpeakingSuccess, a company that enables business owners, senior managers and their teams to promote their business through speaking.
It’s been an interesting journey so far: Celia read Psychology at Oxford University, then joined Unilever’s graduate scheme and went on to be HR Director of one of their factory sites. She then trained as an actress and worked in stage & television for 5 years, before deciding to use all of her skills – psychology, HR and performance – in setting up her own business in 2007.
Now she is a sought-after speaker and trainer, and frequently speaks on communication skills and personal impact at conferences, member associations and universities.
She is the creator of the iPresent series – a suite of courses and products that take the individual through all the skills needed to achieve Speaking Success, such as how to write sales talks; the secrets of great delivery; and, crucially, how to promote, sell and influence when speaking. She runs in-house workshops from the iPresent series anywhere in the world.

Not content with speaking and training, she is also a jazz singer, and is working on her first book, entitled ‘The Secrets of Speaking Success.’ She is married and lives in Devon.
